Lost licence

Ask for your licence again with the email address you bought with and the order number. It is emailed to that address within minutes, never to another one.

Get the licence emailed again

Open the licence recovery form and enter:

  • the email address you bought with;
  • the order number, which starts with txn_: it is in the receipt Paddle emailed you and in your licence email.

When both match a purchase, the licence is emailed again within a few minutes to the address you bought with, from contact@pocketimplementation.com. It is never shown in the browser and never sent to another address. No email after a few minutes? Check your spam or junk folder for that sender. The form answers a few requests an hour and sends a few emails a day for one order; if it asks you to wait, try again later.

Write to us

If the form does not find your purchase, or the email still does not arrive, write to contact@pocketimplementation.com and give:

  • the email address you bought with (writing from that address is quickest);
  • the order number from the receipt Paddle emailed you, if you have it.

We send the licence only to the email address of the purchase, never to another one. In PDF Textfix from pdftextfix.com, Help > Lost Licence starts this email for you.

Bought in the Mac App Store?

There is no licence to lose. On a Mac signed in with the Apple Account you bought with, choose Help > Restore Purchase in PDF Textfix.

You have the licence, but the app shows the free version

Open the activation link in your licence email on this Mac, or choose Help > Enter Licence…, paste the whole licence from that email (it starts with PTF1.) and click Activate. PDF Textfix checks the licence on your Mac, then activates it online on this Mac, once. If PDF Textfix does not accept it, its message says why; send us that message.

The activation needs an internet connection. If this Mac is offline, PDF Textfix says it needs an internet connection once to activate your licence on this Mac: connect, then choose Retry. Nothing is unlocked until the activation succeeds.

A licence is active on 3 Macs at a time. Activating it on a fourth Mac removes the Mac used least recently, which then shows the free version and says so; enter the licence there again to use it on that Mac. Help > Licence… lists the Macs using your licence. On a new Mac, the same licence works: see moving to a new Mac.
